Ik heb deze speaker gezocht op basis van vele recensies, maar ook omdat de Prime Pinnacles die ik heb aangeschaft bij oppostore geweldig klinken. De combinatie van deze speakers als front en center met name in een surround opstelling zijn perfect. Daarnaast luister ik veel naar SACD’s en ook daar is de Prime Center een aanwinst. En ook deze Prime Center werd weer de volgende ochtend geleverd. Kortom, een geweldige speaker, snelle levering en een goede aftersales.

Prime Driver & Tweeter Design
Center speakers handle over 80% of all audio content, including dialogue and vocals. In fact, this percentage all falls within the midrange. To process all audio as optimally as possible without sound distortion, SVS has designed a light and rigid polypropylene cone for the midrange drivers. This creates a relatively flat frequency response that generates the necessary SPL to reproduce the right dynamic and lengthening sound. Furthermore, the midrange driver features a separate sealed compartment in the enclosure to prevent discoloration arising from the subwoofer. The 5.25-inch woofers are fixed in an ABS / fiberglass composite frame for accurate alignment and sound reproduction that is free from vibrations. A bass port is located on the rear of the center speaker for optimized bass extension.
Geometric Design
The tapered edges on the front of the SVS Prime center speaker minimize diffraction at the edges. This creates a clear and accurate sound reproduction.
