Deze speakers toegevoegd aan de 5.1 set die ik enige weekjes geleden had gekocht bij Oppo/Jvb, deze set beviel me zeer goed dat ik heb besloten om voor een 5.1.2 systeem te gaan. Gekozen voor de SVS Elevation Prime en met als doel dezen te gebruiken als front downfiring atmos speakers. Dat pakt dus prina uit, ik gebruik vaak de beginscenes van de films als Dune (remake), Bumblebee & Mad Max, vooral in atmos en bv bij Dune hoor je zo mooi die trommels door de speakers, een lekker vol geluid. Inmiddels gebruik ik nu zelfs Auro 3D omdat ik dat persoonlijk voor film nog beter vind klinken. Mijn set is de kleur black ash omdat ik niet echt hou van hoogglans en niet wil dat de tv in mijn speakers reflecteren, want film is voornamelijk waarvoor io deze speakers gebruik. Toch voor de Evelation gekozen voor hooglans wit omdat mijn plafond en muur ook wit zijn en ik joet zeggen dat dat heel mooi is geworden. Zeer tevreden met het resultaat, het monteren aan de muur is ook vrij eenvoudig. Helaas werkte mijn muur niet altijd even goed mee, maar dat staat los van systeem SVS. Ik wil nu nog 2 satellite speakers toevoegen voor naast/achter de bank voor surround of rear height atmos, dan heb ik een 5.1.4 systeem en wie weet in de toekoms nogeens wat updaten. Ben erg blij met het merk SVS en de goede service van JVB.

Ik gebruik ze i.c.m de SvS SB -3000 subwoofer voor Atmos, ik kan niet anders zeggen een fantastisch geluid.

SVS Prime Elevation (set of 2 speakers)
The Prime Elevation is a versatile home theater speaker that supports a variety of surround sound formats, including DTS:X, Auro 3D, and especially Dolby Atmos. This speaker delivers a very spacious and true-to-life sound from the height, resulting in an overhead sound for a three-dimensional effect. When watching content with Dolby Atmos support, flying vehicles from movies, animals from beautiful nature documentaries and floating objects seem to be right above your head. Plus, the Prime Elevation can be positioned multiple ways in your room thanks to its rear-hinged speakers, allowing you to create the desired sound to match your listening space. The included Multi-Angle wall bracket allows you to mount the speakers to the wall, allowing the sound to come directly from above. When you position the Prime Elevation speaker on the floor, there is up-firing sound that reflects indirectly through the ceiling, although wall mounting provides the most optimal effect.
Surround sound
SVS has equipped the Prime Elevation with several object-based surround sound technologies, including Dolby Atmos, DTS:X and Auro 3D. This gives you the ability to create a three-dimensional sound experience when combined with a 5.1,- 7.1 or extended speaker system. For example, the front-firing speakers at the front and side of your listening position provide the two-dimensional sound. Many conventional overhead speakers have a limited frequency response and reflect sound indirectly through the ceiling to your listening position. This does not always result in the desired result due to the interior and other objects in your listening room. In contrast, the multipurpose Prime Elevation is definitely a speaker to create height effects and completes your sound experience with an excellent third dimension.
Sound performance
Sound reflection through the ceiling is therefore no longer necessary to create a full-range home cinema surround sound. The Prime Elevation features a midrange/bass woofer driver of 115 millimeters in diameter with a propylene cone for an excellent degree of rigidity. The aluminum sealing ring reduces vibration and maintains a high frequency response. In addition, the 25-millimeter aluminum tweeter dome handles the reproduction of the highs. The maximum power output of the SVS Prime Elevation is 150 watts, with a nominal impedance of 8 ohms, sensitivity of 87dB and a frequency response between 55Hz and 25kHz (±3 dB).
Design
Many speakers feature organic round shapes or the familiar rectangular design. The versatility of the SVS Prime Elevation is due in part to its cleverly designed enclosure, the front of which slopes at a 30-degree angle. This unique geometry provides a number of options to hang the speakers on the wall for down-firing sound, place them on the floor for up-firing sound or lay them on their sides for front/side-firing sound. The enclosure is constructed of extra-thick MDF and features a sturdy construction to prevent vibration and distortion in the sound. The Prime Elevation is available in high gloss black, high gloss white or ash black finishes.
