The sound performance of subwoofers is often accompanied by strong bass and vibration. In some cases, this can also be felt and heard in the interior of your listening room. Resonances from a closed subwoofer enclosure through the floor or wall can cause vases to vibrate, coffee cups to clink or a picture frame to dance on the wall. In addition, subwoofers with a bass reflex port often involve air movement. The combination of maximum power, a powerful bass output and a high volume can therefore have an effect on your interior or the mood of your neighbors.
To avoid this, SVS has designed sound isolating legs that allow you to improve the overall sound performance of the subwoofer and reduce vibrations through the wall or floor. The result is a clean and tighter sounding bass reproduction. The legs are ideally suited for listening rooms with wooden floors or where furnishings create a lot of vibration. The SoundPath Isolation System is suitable for all SVS subwoofers. For optimal results, the PB12, PB13-Ultra, PB16-Ultra and PB17-Ultra R|Evolution require six legs. Under the SB-1000, PB-1000, SB-1000 PRO, SB12-NSD, PB12-NSD, SB-2000, SB-2000 PRO, SB16-Ultra, PB-2000, PB-2000 PRO, SB13-Ultra and all cylinder models you can fit four legs.
