Ik heb 3 sets gekocht. Deze heb ik ingezet als front-Links, Front-Center, Front rechts en Side link en side rechts.
Mijn Multichannel muziek is nog nooit zo lekker uit de verf gekomen. SACD's met 5.1 muziek of DTS files klinken over alle speakers het zelfde. Hte maakt echt niet uit of de producer het geluid niet in de fronts plaatst. Stop de zang maar in de center hoor. geen centje pijn.
Mijn soundstage is echt zo enorm opgeknapt. Dark side of the moon klinkt zowel in 4.0 als in 5.1 rete goed. Terwijl de meeste sets eigenlijk allleen de 4.0 kunnen vewerken omdat de doorsnee center speaker niet geschikt is voor muziek. Ik weet niet hoe de SVS ultra center klinkt maar ik ben erg content met de Ultra bookshelf als center. Mijn Backs and Tops zijn nog bookshelves van mission (771) maar Het klank verschil valt niet op. Point - Yello (de atmos versie) is een waar spektakel. Misschien als iemand Fish (marillion) in een DTS:X of atmos file alle hoeken van de kamer zou laten zien dan zou ik wellicht verschil horen tussen de missions en de SVS ultra. Tot nu toe is zijn de verschillen marginaal. Vooral het verschil tussen center en fronts is mij altijd een doorn in de oren geweest.
Ik heb in de 3 weken dat ze er nu al staan nog geen stereo track geluisterd. Maar als ik sommige sacd tracks hoor valt er weinig the klagen over de SVS ultras. Nou ja 1 ding, ze zijn te groot voor in mijn lundia dus ze zijn niet geschikt als backs in mijn setup. Ook zijn de te groot om aan het plafond te hangen. Verder baal ik van de baspoort aan de achterkant. Doe dat toch niet dat is extreem paradoxaal met de term bookshelves!!!
